Payments software provider ACI Worldwide came to Vital with a recently refreshed brand that needed to be interpreted through its digital presence. In addition, ACI struggled with a frustrating, inefficient backend experience on their existing website. They needed a lean, mean lead-generation machine that would communicate their new brand’s look and feel, built on a CMS that wouldn’t slow them down.
Above all else, ACI needed their website to generate leads and guide their users through the sales funnel. Vital worked closely with them to understand their various target audiences — including banks, merchants, payment intermediaries, and United States-based billers — and create a user experience that surfaced the right information, to the right viewers, at the right time. The new website effectively highlights the brand’s major products and services, with easy-to-understand navigation elements to direct customers through education to sales.
ACI’s existing website was built on a backend that made it extremely frustrating to manage and update. Vital made the switch to WordPress, which allowed for a dramatic increase in development agility and flexibility. Now, the team is able to update their site and deliver new features in significantly less time, with way fewer headaches.
At roughly 400 marketing pages, and over 2400 pages total, revamping the ACI website was no easy lift. The ACI team rolled up their sleeves and collaborated with Vital, often side by side. It was critical for them to get up to speed with the new backend quickly, so Vital and ACI were able to tackle the final weeks of the build as a team.
Now that the site is launched, ACI will be partnering with Vital on more projects aimed at continuing to improve their solutions content. In addition, they have signed on to both a Digital Marketing retainer and a Projects and Updates retainer. We look forward to working with them for years to come!
