After earning his degree in English and Film Studies at UMass Amherst, James secured a coveted programming internship at the New Hampshire Film Festival, where he assisted in the adjudication and curation of submissions for the 2020 season. Building upon this invaluable experience, he joined Vital as a Digital Marketing Coordinator, quickly proving his expertise and dedication. In 2021, he was promoted to Senior Coordinator, and by 2022, he advanced to his current role as Account Manager of Maintenance and Support. In 2023, he made the exciting move from New Hampshire to Brooklyn.
In his spare time, you can find James watching horror movies and writing film analyses for fun; cheering on the sidelines as his husband, Stephen, embarks on ambitious baking and cooking projects; capturing moments with one of his many 35mm or instant cameras; or cozied up at home with a book, a cup of strong coffee, and his cat, Fluffy.
