Kristen Melamed

Kristen uses her extensive writing experience and inquisitive journalism background to ask the right questions in order to provide engaging, high-quality copy for her clients.

Prior to joining Vital, Kristen was an editor at a newspaper in Maryland, a reporter covering the police/crime beat (never a dull day), and a technical writer for a government contracting company. While attending the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in writing and a Bachelor of Arts in English and journalism, she worked at the graduate school creating social media content and writing articles highlighting student experiences.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys a good craft project, attempting to touch her toes in yoga class, anything to do with food, and playing golf (though she only keeps score on the good holes).
