When not immersed in code he can be found playing in the garden, reading macabre stories written by the likes of Neil Gaiman, Shirley Jackson, or Edgar Allan Poe, or catching up on some English detective noir TV shows.

Ryan’s wife and he — both fans of the English and Irish lifestyles — daydream of retiring to a market town in the UK or Republic of Ireland where they can enjoy rambles in the countryside, a comforting cream tea, a lovely country garden, and the chance of spotting a hedgehog in the wild.
