When you look at a website, do you ever think about how it got there? Do you ever think about how the images are placed, how the typography is chosen and how it’s laid out in such a way?
Whether we know it or not, what we all see on any website is the culmination of hours upon hours of hard work—otherwise known as a creative website design process. While the focus always tends to end up on the final product, it’s important to remember that everything you see online is the byproduct of someone’s creative process.
The Creative Process: Website Design Inspiration
Every designer has a creative process. It can be as unique as a fingerprint and it always starts with some sort of an inspiration. Inspiration is all around us—it can be something we see, hear, touch and even smell. It sparks ideas, starts conversations and moves things forward to new/better solutions.
Here is the third part of our ongoing series, “What Moves Us: Web Design Inspiration” (if you haven’t already, check out Vol. 1 and Vol. 2). These are some of the great designs that have inspired us lately.
