  4. Install the GA4 tag: Add the GA4 tag provided to your website’s code. If you use Google Tag Manager, you can add a new GA4 Configuration tag and enter your Measurement ID.

  2. Create a new data stream: 
    • In your existing GA4 property, create a new data stream for the new website. 
    • Navigate to the “Admin” section, select your GA4 property, and click on “Data Streams.” 
    • Click “Add Stream” and select “Web.” 
    • Enter the URL of your new website and name the stream.
  3. Install the GA4 tag on the new website: Google will provide a Measurement ID for the new data stream. Add the GA4 tag to the new website’s code using the provided Measurement ID. If you use Google Tag Manager, create a new GA4 Configuration tag and enter the new Measurement ID.
  4. Configure tracking settings: Replicate the tracking settings from your old website, including custom events, parameters, and user properties, in the new data stream. Ensure that Enhanced Ecommerce and other relevant features are enabled.
