Enhancing User Experience Without Losing Site Authority

The primary goal of this project was to give the ACT website a fresh, updated look that would better serve its diverse audience of students and B2B partners. It was essential to improve navigation and streamline page content so users could quickly find what they needed. At the same time, the team needed to retain the site’s strong SEO performance, which was largely tied to its long-form content.

Another critical objective was to ensure the site effectively communicated ACT’s offerings to both of its core audiences: prospective healthcare students and potential business partners. Prior to the redesign, much of the site’s focus leaned toward student resources, but the organization wanted to highlight its partnership offerings as well.

Collaboration and SEO-Conscious Copywriting

The Vital project team took a thoughtful approach to copywriting, editing each page to improve clarity and scannability without sacrificing keyword strength or search equity. By refining the existing content instead of rewriting it entirely, the team preserved the SEO value while making the site more approachable for users.
Internally, close collaboration between Vital’s website and digital marketing teams ensured that design, development, and SEO strategies remained tightly aligned. The addition of subtle homepage animations helped modernize the user experience, adding visual interest without overcomplicating the site’s straightforward architecture.

The volume of content on the original website presented a significant hurdle. The previous site contained many in-depth, highly detailed pages, so the team carefully balanced preserving this comprehensive information while making the content more accessible and user-friendly. Strong cross-department collaboration was key to ensuring the final site stayed aligned with the client’s vision and long-term goals.
