Overview
For this project, we were tasked with creating an updated website for technology company StarCompliance, which specializes in compliance software for financial services, human resources, and more. The primary objective was to transition the client’s website from Hubspot to WordPress while retaining all existing content and workflows (of which there were many). We also sought to enhance overall user engagement by adding dynamic elements, providing a much more modern user experience throughout the site.
Leading the Charge on Global Compliance
StarCompliance is a global leader in the world of regulatory compliance software, so it was imperative that their new site convey and maintain the trustworthiness their existing clients have come to know — and draw new prospects in with their confident thought leadership. All of these attributes needed to be apparent as soon as visitors landed on the site.
The key goals of this project included:
- Designing and developing a modern, visually engaging website on the WordPress platform.
- Migrating the client’s existing Hubspot website to WordPress without losing any functionality.
- Ensuring seamless integration of all Hubspot forms, workflows, and documents on the new platform.
- Making it pretty (obvs).
Thankfully, StarCompliance already had heaps of existing content to work with, so it was all a matter of building a site architecture that would support easy discovery of their solutions suite and compliance resources.
Leaving No Stone Unturned
First, we conducted a thorough analysis of StarCompliance’s existing website and identified the key elements that we needed to migrate and update. Our design team then created mockups that incorporated movement and animation to provide a fresh look and feel.
The development team built the new website on WordPress, seamlessly integrating all Hubspot forms, documents, and workflows. Rigorous testing followed to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
Challenge Accepted
A major technical challenge was figuring out how to use one Hubspot form for over 50 different resources. On top of this, the project had a strict deadline — but no sweat (well, maybe a little sweat). Lucky for the client, the Vital team is adept at efficient time management and prioritization of tasks.
We also relied heavily on our expert Hubspot development team, who came up with an innovative custom form script to enable the use of the same Hubspot form across multiple resources.

By leveraging our team’s expertise and creative problem-solving abilities, we delivered a website that not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations.
The transition from Hubspot to WordPress went according to plan, with all content and workflows safely retained. The new design, which centers the user experience, instills a quiet but firm confidence in Star’s expertise. The client especially noted the smoother functionality throughout the site, a result of improvements to both the front and back ends.
