Scope
Overview
Component Dynamics sources high quality electronic components for manufacturers, resellers, and brokers. They needed to make the shift from a corporate website to eCommerce functionality that would support a large, ever-changing product catalog. Their previous site was limited by a page builder backend, so we transitioned them to the WordPress Block Editor for an easy-to-use site that will scale to meet their business objectives.
A Product Catalog that Drives Sales
In addition to eCommerce functionality and an updated look and feel, the new site imports over 2000 products from a central database. The catalog updates twice a day with the latest availability, pricing, imagery, and other product details. A robust product search engine with the ability to browse by category makes the user experience easy and intuitive. And the site architecture and product descriptions are optimized for organic search.
