Indium Corporation is a global materials manufacturer serving advanced technology industries, from semiconductors to automotive electronics. When they partnered with Vital, their goal was clear: create a robust, modern website that could serve as both a powerful external presence and a practical internal resource for their global team of product managers.
The website needed to handle complex content requirements, support multiple languages, and scale alongside a broad, evolving product catalog. This wasn’t just a fresh coat of paint — it was a foundational build that would support business operations, marketing, and customer engagement around the world.

Some Graceful Course-Correcting
Using Skeletor, our proprietary website templating system, the Vital team delivered a completely custom WordPress build designed for both performance and flexibility. We introduced new pattern updates — including a new postcard block — to give the Indium Corporation team full control over content layout and design.
When Indium Corporation’s translation needs expanded, we evaluated and tested multiple solutions. After initial struggles with WordPress Multilingual Plugin (they can’t all be winners), we pivoted to Weglot, a lighter, faster, and more user-friendly alternative that reduced setup time and eliminated the pain points of traditional translation plugins. The result is a smoother multilingual experience for users and easier long-term management for the client.

This project challenged us in all the right ways — and strengthened a client relationship that feels more like a partnership than a project. Despite the twists and turns, the Indium Corporation project delivered major wins for both the client and Vital:
