Web Award - Non-ProfitCross Roads House is a Portsmouth, NH, shelter that has been a staple in the community for many years. The shelter runs off of donations to provide temporary housing options for those in need, and a strong digital presence is an important tool for their fundraising efforts.
When the opportunity arose to help them out, we donated a full website, hosting, maintenance, and an ongoing digital marketing retainer. This was a project close to our heart because it directly affects our city and the amazing people who live here.
We stressed empathy on the homepage by creating a status bar that was intended to be updated on a daily basis with capacity percentage and how many individuals were sheltered last night — adults, families, and children. It was also important to have an announcement bar to promote their events like their Annual Benefit by the Sea Gala.
We design all of Cross Roads' event collateral every year for their Annual Benefit by the Sea Gala, including save the date mailers, invites, sponsorship collateral, brochures, posters, and event programs. This Benefit by the Sea Gala is a successful charity event that brings in a huge percentage of their donations/funding for the entire year.
